Hypovolemic shock
Hypovolemic shock is often caused by a large amount of bleeding or loss of body fluids, or the presence of a third gap in the fluid volume, resulting in a decrease in effective circulation. Hemorrhagic shock is caused by rupture of large blood vessels or hemorrhage of the lumen. It is called traumatic shock when there is blood loss and plasma loss at the same time after various injuries or major surgery.
