Kidney cancer in the elderly
Renal cancer, also known as renal cell carcinoma, renal adenocarcinoma, and clear cell carcinoma, is the most common renal parenchymal tumor. The incidence of renal cancer in men is 2.5 to 3 times higher than that in women. Due to the increase in average life expectancy and the advancement of medical imaging, the incidence of renal cancer has increased than before. There are no clinically obvious symptoms and the number of renal cancers occasionally found during physical examinations has increased, up to 1/2 to 1/5.
