Erysipelas-like appearance

The erysipelas-like appearance is a clinical manifestation of erysipelas. Erysipelas is an acute inflammation of the skin and its reticular lymphatics. Occurs in the lower extremities and the face. Its clinical manifestations are acute onset, localized flaky rashes with clear boundaries, bright red, slightly bulging, and fading under pressure. The surface of the skin is tense and hot, spreading rapidly around, with burning pain. With high fever chills and headaches.
