Delirium during puerperium

Delirium state during puerperium: Onset is mostly early in the postpartum period. There may be insomnia, irritability, emotional instability, and loss of appetite in the early stage. Later, it develops into excessive worry, irritability, and suspicion of the newborn, and then obvious psychomotor excitement, mental disturbance, and various hallucinations soon appear. Hear the baby cry and others talk about her. There is no concern for newborns and there is a danger of killing babies.
