Postpartum lochia
After delivery, the part of the decidua at the placenta of the uterus, especially the placenta, is removed from the vagina. It contains blood, necrotic decidual tissues and other vaginal discharge. Postpartum lochia that persists for more than three weeks is called endless postpartum lochia.
