Incision and drainage of anterior peritoneal liver abscess

Applicable to liver abscesses equivalent to the sixth segment of the right lobe. Anterior peritoneal extrahepatic liver abscess incision and drainage. Notes: When resistance is encountered during blunt extraperitoneal separation, do not forcibly strip to prevent the peritoneum from breaking into the abdominal cavity. If it has entered the abdominal cavity, the peritoneum should be closed before drainage of the abscess to prevent contamination of the abdominal cavity.
