Iris impaction
Due to the suspicion that symptomatic ophthalmia may occur after surgery, it has been rarely used. Precautions for iris impaction: 1. The iris must be handled lightly to avoid excessive shedding of iris pigments. 2. When cutting the iris, you must reach the root of the iris directly from the edge of the pupil, otherwise the incarcerated iris can easily slide back to the anterior chamber. 3. At the end of the incarcerated iris, when using the iris restorer to arrange the iris, ensure that the center of the incision is unobstructed, and the juice will block the wound and prevent the aqueous humor from filtering. Do not push the iris column too far to the ends of the incision, so that the center of the wound is too wide, resulting in slow formation of the anterior chamber. Don't pull the iris too much, so as not to move the pupil too much up after surgery.
