Hysteroscopic mediastinal separation
Uterine mediastinum is a very common uterine malformation. Zabak et al.'S retrospective analysis suggested that the uterine mediastinum had the worst reproductive prognosis, high early abortion rate, increased incidence of recurrent miscarriages and expired abortions, reproductive failure and increased obstetric complications. The mediastinum of the uterus does not appear to be a cause of infertility, but is significantly increased in unexplained secondary infertility. Now hysteroscopic surgery has replaced the traditional open surgery, known as the standard surgical procedure for the treatment of uterine mediastinum. Hysteroscopic hysteroplasty improves the obstetrical prognosis of the uterine mediastinum, which has the advantages of easy operation and low morbidity, and avoids the adverse consequences of hysterectomy, such as adhesions. The indication for TCRS is a history of spontaneous abortion more than twice, which is reduced to 15% after surgery. Infertile women also need a laparoscopic diagnosis to assess the type of uterine mediastinum and coexisting pelvic lesions.
