Elderly constipation
Constipation is more common in the elderly. Due to constipation, the feces stay in the intestine for too long, and the toxic substances such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, indole, and nitrosamines cannot be excreted in time and absorbed into the blood, causing certain harm to the body tissues.
