Anterolateral spinal decompression

Paraplegia is a serious complication of spinal tuberculosis. Anterior and lateral decompression of the spinal canal was first designed by Capner and then improved by Alexander (1946) and Dott (1947). It is a surgical treatment for spinal tuberculosis complicated with paraplegia. It has been reported that the complete recovery rate of paraplegia reaches 98.8%
