One-stage resection and anastomosis for congenital atresia and bowel stenosis
For newborns diagnosed with congenital atresia or intestinal stenosis, the only treatment method is surgery, so surgical treatment should be adopted in time to restore the intestinal patency. Surgery can be divided into three categories, namely intestinal resection and anastomosis, intestinal fistula anastomosis, and gastrointestinal (or duodenal jejunum) anastomosis. The surgical method should be selected according to the condition of the sick child and the level of the obstruction.
