Skewed Finger (Toe) Deformation
The characteristics of deformity are: 1. Skew deformity of the finger side, which can occur on any finger, deviate to the radial or ulnar side. Most of them occur when the distal little finger points to the joint and shifts to the radial side. A few occur in indications. It has been reported that the incidence is between 1% and 19.5%. 2. The malformation can be one of the signs of some syndromes, and there are more than 30 kinds of syndromes with this malformation. Frequently, there are joint and short finger deformities. 3.X-ray films showed that the distal interphalangeal joint was dysplastic, showing a triangular shape, or the articular surface was oblique, or the middle phalanx was skewed.
