Splenic shunt

It belongs to one of the other shunts, and is basically similar to the splenorenal vein shunt, except that the inferior vena cava is thicker and thicker than the renal vein wall, which is easy to be exposed and easy to operate. The rebleeding rate and hepatic encephalopathy rate were lower after this operation. However, when the splenic vein is too thin or inflammatory, it is difficult to perform this operation [Figure 4].
