Open amputation
Open amputation refers to those who do not suture the skin after amputation, and who have a complete open face. Generally used when the limb is infected or there is a greater possibility of infection. This is a temporary amputation. In the future, two amputations will be needed to assemble the prosthesis. There are two types of amputation methods: open circular amputation and flap open amputation; the former is commonly used in wartime, because of its smooth drainage, short operation time and light burden on the wounded.
