Sub-diaphragmatic abscess drainage
Sub-diaphragmatic abscess drainage is a drainage method used to treat sub-diaphragmatic abscess. Patients with sub-diarrheal abscess often have a history of peritonitis such as ulcerative perforation, appendix perforation, or after abdominal surgery. Generally, systemic symptoms are slightly milder than bacterial liver abscess. Careful ultrasound imaging is not difficult to distinguish between intrahepatic or extrahepatic abscesses.
