Pancreatic body and tail resection

Pancreatic cancer occurs in about one-third of the pancreas and tail. Because the early symptoms are not obvious, and the left upper abdominal mass and left waist pain are late, surgical resection is difficult. In recent years, with the development of diagnostic techniques such as b-mode ultrasound and CT, the early detection of tumors in the pancreatic body and tail has been increasing, so the opportunities for resection of the pancreatic body and tail have also increased.
