Exploration of common bile duct
The main purpose of common bile duct incision is to explore the lesions of the biliary tract; remove stones, tapeworms, blood clots, etc. in the biliary tract; drain the common bile duct to solve the obstruction and infection of the biliary tract. A common bile duct incision above the duodenum is often performed clinically. Depending on the condition, cholecystectomy and biliary-enteric anastomosis are often performed.
