Major gastrectomy

Subtotal gastrectomy is a commonly used surgical method for the treatment of ulcers in China. The clinical experience for many years has proved that the effect is satisfactory. The traditional major gastric resection ranged from 2/3 to 3/4 of the distal part of the stomach, including the large part of the stomach, the entire gastric antrum, the pylorus, and the duodenal bulb. The resection of the ulcer lesion itself is not absolutely necessary. When the resection technique is difficult, it can be left out. For example, the food does not pass after the operation, so the left ulcer can gradually heal.
