Serum anti-shock protein-60 antibody
Heat shock protein-60 (HSP-60) has a molecular weight of 60kD. Under heat, inflammatory mediators and other forms of physiological stimulation, the level of HSP-60 in cells increases. HSP-60 is considered to protect cells under stress. Protected from injury, HSP-60 has a protective effect on myocardial ischemic injury. The mechanism of producing HSP-60 autoantibodies may be as follows: ① virus infection integrates HSP-60 polypeptides into immature viruses, and these polypeptides are immunogenic in vivo. ② HSP-60 structural changes or post-translational modifications after virus infection, HSP-60 itself is immunogenic.
