Tear epidermal growth factor
Studies have shown that EGF has obvious biological functions, can promote cell mitosis, promote glycolysis and synthesis of DNA, RNA and protein. EGF in tears can stimulate the proliferation of conjunctival epithelial cells and shorten the coverage time of corneal epithelial defects.
