Red blood cell reduced glutathione and stability test

In the absence of glucose-6-phosphate glucose deoxygenase (G-6-PD), the coenzyme NADPH, which is a glutathione reductase, is insufficiently produced, so the GSH production of red blood cells is reduced, and the stability is decreased. Can indirectly reflect the amount of G-6-PD.
