Closed eye walking test
The main function of the vestibular nervous system is to maintain body balance and coordination of movements. When it is damaged or dysfunctional, a series of symptoms such as dizziness, dysfunction of balance and coordination occur. When walking, the gait is unstable and falls to one side. Closed-eye walking test is to observe the gait and posture of the patient while walking to judge the vestibular nerve function.
