11-deoxycorticosterone

Plasma 11-deoxycorticosterone belongs to the 21-carbon steroid hormone, which is mainly produced by the adrenal cortex band. It is a mineralocorticoid, and its secretory function and effect are similar to 18-hydroxycortisol.
