Leptospira latex agglutination test

Leptospira is a kind of slender and soft spiral body, which is widely present in a variety of wild animals and domestic animals, and can cause systemic infections in humans and mammals. Carriers are the main source of infection of Leptospira, mainly by contact transmission. Rats and cats are the main source of infection in China. When a person is infected, collecting serum IgM antibodies for 2 weeks after the onset of disease is of great value for early diagnosis of leptospirosis. IgG antibodies appeared after 2 to 4 weeks, and IgG antibodies were the main ones in the future.
