Neutrophil number
In normal human peripheral blood, the neutrophils have three leaves, most of which are rod-shaped nucleus cells (0.01-0.05). The normal ratio between rod-shaped nuclei and lobulated nuclei is 1:13. If the ratio increases (that is, the number of rod-shaped nucleus granulocytes increases), or the more immature stage of granulocytes before the appearance of rod-shaped nuclei is called nuclear left shift. If the ratio decreases (indicating that the number of lobulated nucleus granulocytes increases) or the number of granulocytes with more than 5 lobed leaves exceeds 0.03, it is called right nuclear shift.
