Serum anti-JE virus IgM antibody

Encephalitis B Virus is a type of arborvirus B, and its morphological structure belongs to the genus Flaviviridae. The antigenicity of Japanese encephalitis virus is relatively stable. Both humans and animals are susceptible. After infection, it can produce complement-binding antibodies, hemagglutination-inhibitory antibodies and neutralizing antibodies. In particular, specific IgM antibodies can appear in the blood on the 4th day after infection, and reach a peak in 2 to 3 weeks. Therefore, detection of specific IgM antibodies can help early diagnosis.
