Sucrose hemolysis test
The sucrose hemolysis test refers to placing red blood cells in a sucrose solution with a low ion concentration. At 37 ° C, it can promote the binding of complement and red blood cells, and observe whether the red blood cells are damaged to cause hemolysis. This test is often used in conjunction with the acid dissolution test as a simple screening test for matrix sleep hemoglobinuria.
