Pulmonary fluke skin test
The lung fluke intradermal test is a supplementary test for detecting bloodworms. Intradermal injections of diluted Pneumocystis adult antigens can be used to detect the presence of antibodies in patients. If the skin test is positive, the patient is likely to be infected with pulmonary fluke. This test can assist in the diagnosis of lung fluke disease and is used in epidemiological investigations. Through this examination, the corresponding symptoms can be judged.
