Chvostek sign
Chvostek's sign is the involuntary contraction of the facial muscle caused by light deduction of the external auditory canal nerve. 10% of normal healthy people are present. Patients with hypocalcemia, occult nutritional vitamin D deficiency, and tetany are often positive.
