Anti-PM-1 antibody
Anti-PM-1 antibody is an antinuclear antibody that appears in patients with polymyositis, dermatomyositis, or patients with systemic sclerosis / polymyositis (PSS / PM) overlap syndrome, also known as anti-PM-Sol antibody . Gelpi et al. (1990) used 35S methionine to label Hela cell antigen with anti-PM-1 antibody-positive patient serum for immunoprecipitation, and confirmed that the antigen precipitated by anti-PM-1 antibody is a complex composed of 11 to 16 proteins with a molecular weight of 22kD. ~ 110kD, no nucleic acid. PM-1 antigen is located in the nucleoli and nucleoli, and its function is unknown, but the role of the antigen in the nucleoli may be more important.
