The postprandial serum zinc concentration response test (PICR) is given as a standard diet (calculated based on 20% of total calories throughout the day, containing 10% to 15% protein, 30% to 35% fat, and 50% to 60% carbohydrate). Fasting (A0) and serum zinc concentration (A2) 2 hours after a meal.
