Neonatal red blood cell count
The red blood cells of the newborn were significantly higher, and gradually decreased after 2 weeks of birth. Men are the lowest at the age of 6 to 7, and peak at the age of 25 to 30. Women reached the highest value at the age of 13 to 15 years, maintained a low level at the age of 21 to 35 years, and then gradually increased, similar to the level of men. The difference in the number of red blood cells between males and females between the ages of 15 and 40 is obvious. It may be because males have higher levels of androgen during this period, promote protein synthesis, and help red blood cells to make blood.
