FLA-ABS test
In recent years, with the development of immunology, some new methods have also been introduced in the diagnosis of leprosy, mainly the fluorescent leprosy antibody absorption test (referred to as the FLA-ABS test). This is an indirect immunofluorescence technology. Its basic principles and Fluorescent Treponema pallidum antibody absorption tests were consistent. It takes leprosy as an antigen to detect the presence of antibodies against leprosy specific antigens in human serum.
