Apolipoprotein E genotyping
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is a basic protein rich in arginine. ApoE plays an important role in lipid metabolism. The common allele types of the apolipoprotein (Apo) E gene are divided into three types of ε2, ε3, and ε4. The detection of ApoE genotype can be used as an indicator for clinical auxiliary diagnosis and risk rate estimation.
