Serological diagnosis of liver fibrosis
Liver fibrosis is the only way for chronic liver disease to develop into cirrhosis. It is the common pathological basis of all chronic liver diseases. Its main characteristics are excessive production of extracellular matrix components (ECM), relatively insufficient degradation, excessive deposition and abnormal distribution in the liver, but no cirrhotic pseudolobules. Preventing or slowing the occurrence and development of this process can prevent cirrhosis and liver cancer.
