When the pregnancy is normal, the fertilized egg is implanted in the endometrium of the uterus. When the fertilized egg is implanted in a part other than the body cavity of the uterus, it is called an ectopic pregnancy, and is called an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is slightly different from the meaning of ectopic pregnancy.
