Corn

Introduction

Introduction The cornea is a stratum corneum caused by the long-term antibody of the local skin, which is caused by the extrusion friction. The cone is embedded in the skin, and the apex protrudes into the dermis to compress the nerve endings. If the part is compressed or squeezed, it will cause obvious pain. The bottom of the cone is round or elliptical on the surface of the skin, and the pale yellow hard surface is clear, generally like the size of soybeans. Also known as "small thorn". More common in young people or children, it occurs in the soles of the feet and toes. When the patient is standing or walking, the cornea can compress the local sensory nerves, causing severe pain, which makes the patient walk hard.

Cause

Cause

The cornea is a thickened conical cuticle caused by long-term friction and compression. It has a horny central nucleus with a tip deep into the skin and a base exposed to the outside. When the cause of local compression or friction is removed, most corns can gradually soften and return to normal skin.

Clinical features

1. Occurs in the middle of the ankle, the lateral edge of the ankle or the heel.

2. Skin lesions are pale yellow horny papules with needle size to broad bean size and clear borders. Conical horny plugs can be seen.

3. The pain is severe.

Laboratory inspection

If necessary, take X-ray film to find exogenous osteophytes. It should be differentiated from the common sputum, and both the sputum and the corns interrupt the skin, while the sputum makes the dermatoglyphic. After the surface of the lesion is removed, the capillaries and most of the bleeding points are visible in the common iliac crest. The central translucent, yellow-white core is visible in the corn; the sputum is pale yellow keratin, and there are no capillaries of most punctiform embolization.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

According to the occurrence of keratinous lesions in the palm of the hand, it is not difficult to diagnose.

The main distinguishing points between corns and cockroaches are: the cornea is an inverted cone-shaped keratinous hyperplasia, and the pain is obvious when walking; and the sputum is a flat flaky keratin thickening, which has a wide range and generally is not painful.

Eyes and cockroaches need to be differentiated from cockroaches: cockroaches can be distributed throughout the foot, not limited to the compression site, can be multiple, damage such as the size of soybeans, surface keratin thickening, use the knife to remove the surface of the stratum corneum, visible from the dermal papilla The horny soft core of the small black spots where the vascular bleeding cells are condensed.
