Mild skin erosion

Introduction

Introduction Mild erosion of the skin between the fingers is common in bacterial skin infections such as candidiasis. Candidiasis is a fungal disease of the skin, mucous membranes or internal organs caused by Candida, mainly Candida albicans. About 8 species of Candida can cause disease in humans, but Candida albicans is a common pathogen and has the strongest virulence. Several other Candida species are less ill and cause less infection. Only when the body's immunity is particularly low, these Candida species can cause disease alone or in combination with Candida albicans.

Cause

Cause

Candida is widely found in the mouth, digestive tract, upper respiratory tract, vagina and skin of nature and normal people. Under normal circumstances, Candida is in a symbiotic state with the human body, does not cause disease, and can cause disease only under certain conditions, so it is called a conditional pathogen. Whether the pathogen can invade after invading the body depends on the number of pathogenic bacteria, the virulence, the invasion route and the body's resistance to the pathogen. When a patient has diabetes, a tumor, a chronic wasting disease, and long-term use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, glucocorticoids, and immunosuppressive agents, the body's resistance is reduced, and infection is likely to occur. It can also be caused by long-term placement of catheters, intubation, organ transplantation, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Most of the disease is endogenous infection, and a few are exogenous infections.

1. The smash between the fingers (toes) is more common in people who have been engaged in wet work for a long time. The rash is most common between the third and fourth fingers. The skin is impregnated and whitened, and the impregnated epidermis is removed. The wetted surface is clearly defined, and the base is flushed with a small amount of exudate. Consciously itchy or painful.

2, Candida sex between the rash is more common in children and obesity. The rash occurs in the groin, groin, axilla, and under the breast. The local has a well-defined moist erosion surface, the base is flushed, and the edges are attached to the mouth-like scales. There are often red pimples, herpes or pustules scattered around the periphery.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Mild skin erosion should be differentiated from the primary disease first. It should be differentiated from aspergillosis in histopathology and is differentially identified with other yeasts.

1, papule-like candidiasis is more common in obese children, and can be complicated with red sputum. The rash is a flat dark red papule of mung bean with a clear edge and covered with gray-white collar-like scales scattered or densely distributed in the chest, back, or perineum. At the same time accompanied by candidal angular keratitis, stomatitis.

2, Candida paronychia, nail bed inflammation is more common in nails. The sulcus is red and swollen, or there is a small amount of discharge, but it does not purulent, slightly painful and tender, and the course is chronic. The deck is turbid, has white spots, hardens, and has a cross and groove on the surface. It is uneven but still shiny and not broken.

3, chronic skin mucosal candidiasis is rare. It is a chronic progressive Candida infection, often accompanied by certain immunodeficiency or endocrine disorders, such as parathyroid glands, adrenal insufficiency, etc., especially congenital thymoma. The disease usually begins in infancy, but it can also occur in the neonatal period. Good skin lesions occur on the head and face, the back of the hand and the distal ends of the limbs, occasionally on the torso. From the beginning, it is erythema and papular scaly damage, gradually becoming sick or nodular, covered with yellow-brown or dark brown clam-like molting, surrounded by dark red halo. Some lesions are highly proliferative, conical or wedge-shaped, shaped like a leather corner, and the keratinous mass is removed, followed by granuloma tissue. After the scar, the scalp can cause hair loss.
