Cervical soft

Introduction

Introduction The degree of softness and hardness of the female cervix can be used as one of the signs of the fetus. It usually occurs naturally when the woman is pregnant.

Cause

Cause

During the full term of pregnancy, the cervix gradually softens during childbirth, begins to expand, and the uterus opens wide, from 0.5 cm to 10 cm, opening the first door for the fetus to be delivered smoothly. The cervix is the only way for the baby to deliver.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Cervical soft symptoms need to be differentiated from the following symptoms:

Cervical erosion: the cervix is divided into the inner mouth and the outer mouth. The inner epithelium is a thin, red columnar cell that secretes mucus, and the outer mouth is covered by a pink squamous epithelium and is padded with the vagina. The delicate columnar epithelium is susceptible to infection, and when long-term chronic inflammation occurs, the squamous epithelium of the outer cervix is covered by the columnar epithelium. The columnar epithelium is very thin. If you see the capillaries and red interstitial below, it shows a red zone and has a clear boundary with the surrounding squamous epithelium. This is cervical erosion, which is also called cervical columnar epithelial ectopic.

Cervical anterior lip edema: refers to the phenomenon of edema in the cervix during childbirth. During childbirth, cervical edema is caused by uneven pressure on the cervix and maternal premature breath. Can also be due to poor fetal head flexion, the front top compression of the cervix affects its retraction, resulting in anterior lip edema of the cervix.

Cervical edema: The expansion and disappearance of the cervix after entering the labor process is not only the result of passive traction, but also caused by its active changes, which plays a vital role in childbirth, but due to a series of histochemistry and blood in the cervix during pregnancy Rheological changes make it more prone to edema.
