Preoperative preparation You should fast for eight hours before surgery, and you can drink half a cup or less of water (barley tea) three hours before surgery, but you cannot drink milk or orange juice. Prohibition of alcohol should be done the day before surgery, and excessive weight loss, taking diuretics, taking aspirin, and excessive smoking before surgery can have adverse effects on surgery. Surgical procedure 1. Cut the skin and orbicularis muscle at the lower edge of the orbital defect site and expose the tibia. Separate to the sputum. 2. At the lower edge of the defect of the eyelid, the periosteum is cut parallel to the iliac crest, and the iliac margin is peeled off, and the healthy bone of the iliac defect area to the surrounding area is fully exposed. Trim the edge and base of the tibial defect. 3. Put the plexiglass into the defect area, align the two sides of the gingival margin, turn the periosteum back to the position, and suture intermittently. 4. If there is no periosteum in the defect area, the plexiglass plate can be fixed and sutured around the periosteum. You can also use a Kirschner wire to punch holes in the healthy bone at the corresponding parts of the plexiglass plate. Tighten the wire with a thin steel wire. After cutting the wire, the broken end should not be erected, and it can be turned inward. 5. A soft tissue flap covering the area below the humeral defect area. 6. Intermittently suture the skin incision. Pressure bandage.
