Repair of canthal defect

Eyelid defects include orbital defects in the internal and external ankles. The repair of the ankle defect is an operation for the orbital defect. If the tumor has affected the posterior layer of the eyelid and a small defect in the posterior layer, the upper and lower iliac conjunctiva and the bulbar conjunctiva can be separated and the posterior wall of the defect can be overturned. If the posterior wall defect is large, an allogeneic scleral repair can be used. The autologous nasal septum cartilage nasal mucosa composite free graft can also be used for repair. The lateral edge of the cartilage of the graft is sutured with the tarsal plate. The cartilage nasal side of the graft is sutured with the stump of the medial malleolus or the corresponding periosteum, and the nasal mucosa and the defect are surrounded. The conjunctival wound is sutured. Treatment of diseases: ocular trauma Indication Ankle defect. Most of the ankle defects are caused by tumor resection. Preoperative preparation Regular preoperative preparation. Local anesthesia. Surgical procedure Transposition flap inverted VY suture repair 1. Renovate the wound. The V-shaped incision of the nasal forehead is reversed on the nasal side of the wound, and the width and height are determined according to the size of the defect. 2. Fully separate the subcutaneous tissue to make a flap. The temporal side of the flap was indexed to the underside of the iliac crest to cover the incision of the medial malleolus. The distal end of the flap was cut horizontally to repair the defect of the skin defect of the upper and lower jaws. 3. The new wound in the donor area is made into a Y-shaped suture.
