Arterial blood ketone body ratio

The arterial blood ketone body ratio (AKBR) measurement refers to the ratio of acetoacetic acid to β-hydroxybutyric acid in arterial blood. AKBR can accurately reflect liver reserve function. AKBR is also widely used to evaluate the efficacy of various liver protection measures.
