Expiratory flow rate
The expiratory flow rate measurement is an indicator mainly reflecting the degree of obstruction of the airway. It is more sensitive than clinical symptoms and objectively reflects the degree of airway obstruction and changes in the condition of asthma patients. Monitoring expiratory flow rate can help detect early signs of deterioration before symptoms appear.
