Perinatal inflammatory response
Peripheral Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS): It is a systemic inflammatory response of the body's uncontrolled self-continuous amplification and self-destruction caused by infectious or non-infectious pathogens acting on the body. It is a clinical process in which the body repairs and survives with excessive stress reactions. When the body is attacked by exogenous damage or infected with toxic substances, it can initiate an initial inflammatory response, and at the same time, the endogenous immune inflammatory factors produced by the body form a "waterfall effect". Critical patients are most likely to cause SIRS because of their reduced compensatory anti-inflammatory response and metabolic dysfunction. Severe cases can cause multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS).
