Serum hepatitis C antibody immunoglobulin G

HCV is the pathogen of hepatitis C. Infection with HCV often causes chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis, and is related to liver cancer. HCV is mainly transmitted through the blood and accounts for 90% of post-transfusion hepatitis. Anti-HCV test is the main basis for the diagnosis of hepatitis C.
