Cerebrospinal fluid immunoglobulin

The main sources of cerebrospinal fluid immunoglobulin: ① local synthesis, activated immune cells to produce when the central nervous system is infected. ② The change of blood-brain barrier, through the increase of the permeability of the cerebral capillary, makes the immunoglobulin in the blood enter the cerebrospinal fluid. Due to the differences in the measurement methods, immunoglobulins in normal cerebrospinal fluid are slightly different. Generally, IgG, IgA, and IgM can be measured, and the remaining two are very small. There are many studies on cerebrospinal fluid IgG subclass.
