Urinary catecholamines

Catecholamines are hormones secreted by the adrenal medulla, adrenal neurons and extra-adrenal chromosomes, including epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine and dopa. However, the adrenal medulla only releases adrenaline and norepinephrine, and it is mainly adrenaline. Epinephrine and norepinephrine released as hormones have the effects of sympathetic nerve excitement and cardiovascular promotion, energy metabolism and blood glucose. Determination of urinary catecholamines is valuable for the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma. Take 24 hours of urine, take 5 ~ 10ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid as preservative, and take 10ml for inspection.
