Hairy Hatchery
The hairy hatchery method is a supplementary inspection method for examining parasites. Schistosomiasis patients have fewer eggs in their feces, which is not easy to detect by direct smear method. The hairy hatchery method is most commonly used in the diagnosis of schistosomiasis infection in combination with the natural precipitation method or the nylon sieve collection method. The scabies in schistosomiasis eggs can hatch in a short time in fresh water with a temperature of 25-28 ° C and a pH of 7.5-8.0. After hatching, the scabs move linearly near the water surface. Due to this method, a larger amount of feces is concentrated by washing with natural sedimentation method or using a nylon silk sieve to collect eggs, and then hatching with hairy maggots, which makes the detection rate significantly higher than the general method. This phase examination can be used to determine the corresponding symptoms.
