Hemoglobin A2

Each hemoglobin has a different isoelectric point and can carry different charges in a certain pH buffer. It has a negative charge in alkaline buffer and a positive charge on the contrary. In a certain electric field, Hb molecules with different charges can move to the positive electrode or the negative electrode, respectively. The moving speed varies with the strength of the Hb molecule's charge, resulting in various zones & mdash; & mdash; Various kinds of abnormal hemoglobin can be initially identified from the electrophoresis spectrum, and their contents can be determined by photoelectric colorimetry or scanning methods.
