Glutamine
Ammonia in the human body is produced by the breakdown of glutamine and the action of intestinal bacteria through amino acids, deaminated kidneys during protein metabolism. Most of the ammonia is synthesized in the liver through circulation, and part of it is glutamine synthesized by ketoacid ammonia. Glutamine plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of liver coma and hepatic encephalopathy.
